Spotted Horse was a former Carlisle School student who reached out to Montezuma many years after he spoke at a Carlisle School event that Spotted Horse attended. In her letter, Spotted Horse talks of wanting to follow in Dr. Montezuma’s footstep and become a doctor someday. She asks for his guidance on the matter. Spotted Horse was a member of the Crow Nation and not much is known of her whereabouts following her departure from the Carlisle School in 1910.
